About US

Mission & History

The St. Jean's Players is the oldest continuing community theatre group on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The group was founded in the 1970's at St. Jean Baptiste Church at Lexington Avenue and 76th Street, performing in the St. Jean's high school auditorium at 167 E 75th street.

They perform three productions each season:

  • A full-length musical for three weekends in November
  • A weekend of one-act plays in February
  • A full-length play for two weekends in May

Auditions are open to the public.  If you would like to be notified of upcoming auditions.
